Industrial Relations (IR) Advisor

What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with Operations, People and Culture, HSE, to deliver relevant, accurate, and timely industrial and employee relations guidance.
- Support business activities and projects, ensuring adherence to applicable industrial instruments, policies, procedures, and statutory provisions for effective issue resolution.
- Contribute to the continual development and implementation of our industrial strategy, amendments to industrial instruments, Agreements, and training.
- Assist with tribunal advocacy and briefing of external counsel for representing the organisation, facilitating issue resolution.
- Act as a representative in negotiations and consultations with entities such as unions, and participate in appearances before various tribunals, including the Fair Work Commission, to advance favorable organisational outcomes.
- Coordinate and conduct investigations in accordance with Company policy, and procedural requirements, ensuring fair, transparent, consistent, and accountable handling of professional conduct and performance matters, including misconduct and other employee relations issues.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Legal, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar or related role.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Industrial Relations and employment law.
- Negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
