Job Title: HR/IR Advisor
Length of Contract: 12 month contract (potential for a permanent position)
Pay Rate / Level of Experience: Formal qualifications and Industry experience required.
Location: West Perth
Roster / Hours: Mon – Fri, 8 hour days
Start Date: Ideally June 2024
Key Accountabilities:
· Provide the E&IR Manager with legislative updates
· Liaise with Subcontractors with RoE permits
· Conduct research into ongoing union activity and social media campaigns
· Support E&IR Manager in managing subcontractors during the campaigns
· Support E&IR Manager in managing any disputes that may arise during the campaigns
· Manage the risk register and periodic reviews of the I & ERMP
· Manage IR administration
· Afterhours emergencies on a rotational basis with E&IR Manager
Professional Qualifications:
· Formal qualification in Industrial Relations
· Solid and demonstrated experience in the maritime and offshore construction industry
· Strong track record of union management
· Demonstrated experience in handling and resolving disputes
· Experience in change management

· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
· Very good organizational skills

· Desire to be flexible and learn new skills
