- Creating and implementing the site training plan, communicating requirements, and coordinating programs as necessary
- Leading training programs as needed, including training the trainer and group-based training.
- Responsibility for updating and maintaining an accurate site versatility& flexibility matrix with a detailed gap analysis.
- Ensuring all new employees are inducted as per Health, Safety and Environment requirements
- Basic professional knowledge in the application of standard work, following work instructions, carrying out sequences of simple setting and quality control operations etc, in addition to pure production operations (different from versatility)
- Responsible for supporting operator training, SIM cycles 1&2, continuous improvement and application of SPS rules for work area/cell
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar capacity
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
- An understanding of Manufacturing processes and Lean Manufacturing would be preferred as would an understanding of Medium Voltage electrical principles
- The ability to engage with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent organisational skills combined with highly developed written & verbal communication skills
