Industry Engagement and Marketing Officer

- Monday to Friday, 72.5 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
- $88,066- $93,671 per annum (LGIA Stream A Level 4) + Superannuation
- Location – Rockhampton
Your new role
In this role you will build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders and provide support at events for internal and external communication and engagement objectives. Your high-level written communication skills will enable you to assist in the development of marketing materials including media releases, speeches, feature articles, newsletters, briefings, reports, scripts, display materials and publications.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

Application Criteria
- Experience in marketing, corporate communications, creating media releases, developing marketing campaigns, public relations and skills in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to build valued relationships across multiple industries with key stakeholders.
- Ability to plan and work independently in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects.
- Experience in delivering and promoting events with the ability to identify and analyse economic opportunities for the region.
