Remuneration: Level 10 from $150,695 plus 17% Superannuation

Why Your Role Matters:
The Industry Specialist - Senior Software Architecture plays a pinnacle role in executing the success of projects within the Capability Systems Centre (CSC), to a high standard and meeting the milestone deadlines.
Responsibilities:
The Industry Specialist – Senior Software Architecture will:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the CSC modelling architecture.
- Drive and provide expert support around CSC evolving software development needs, including research-focused and project delivery.
- Mentor and lead a team of Software Developers to ensure they deliver as expected results to the client.
- Manage ongoing performance, drive career conversations, and set priorities or KPIs of the team.
- Continually gain knowledge of Defence Funding, key Government Policies, industry drivers and trends
Who you Are:
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in Software Architecture and Development across the full software development lifecycle
- Relevant qualifications and significant experience both in Defence Industry and within Australian Defence Force (ADF) Capability
- Team leadership and management experience
- Hold a current NV1 Clearance

The successful candidate will be required to work from the UNSW Canberra campus. To be successful you will hold Australian Working Rights or Australian Citizenship. UNSW is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
