The Role:
This position is part time, 0.8FTE (64 hours per fortnight).
Lead a team of highly skilled professionals in the provision of an essential service and resource to the clinical and non-clinical teams within the Mildura Base Public Hospital providing a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
This role requires the successful candidate to be able to develop, coordinate and implement Infection Prevention and Control programs aligned with the National Safety and Quality Healthcare Standards.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum of three years post-graduate experience
- Demonstrated effective leadership and managerial skills
- Exhibit an interest in Infection Control and a willingness to learn
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and improving performance
