Your new role
The Information Technology Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user satisfaction. As the successful candidate you will play a key role in providing technical support, managing IT projects, and collaborating with external IT partners to drive continuous improvement and align IT strategies with business objectives.
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, Azure cloud platform, and Microsoft 365 environment
- Maintain and upgrade on-premise server infrastructure
- Establish and maintain a hybrid infrastructure
- Manage and optimise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor, manage and maintain server performance, capacity, and security, company mobility and telephone systems
- Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure security, compliance, and best practices
- Provide technical support to users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues along with set up and configure user devices
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets and manage software licences
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Partner with external IT providers to ensure smooth operation of IT systems and services
About you
- Tertiary or vocational qualification in Information Technology or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT administration and support
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Azure cloud platform, and Microsoft 365
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members and external partners
It is critical you have outstanding communication, planning and problem solving skills. You will have a wide range of autonomy and must be a self-starter, demonstrate the ability to prioritise, accept responsibility and explore and offer solutions to a wide range of challenges.
