MKP is committed to leveraging cutting edge technology to enhance our operations and support our team. We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Manager to lead our IT department and ensure the seamless operation of our internal systems.
As the IT Manager, you are the backbone of our technology infrastructure, responsible for managing all aspects of Information Technology within the company for approximately 85 employees across NSW, QLD, VIC and WA and a small team in the Philippines. Your role will encompass internal systems management, end user support, asset management, equipment maintenance, and project management. You will work closely with management and staff to ensure that our technology meets the needs of the business and supports our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Systems Management
- Oversee the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our internal IT systems and infrastructure.
End User Support
- Provide timely and effective technical support to employees across all locations ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Asset & Vendor Management
- Manage IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses, ensuring proper inventory, tracking, and lifecycle management.
Equipment Maintenance
- Ensure the maintenance and functionality of all IT equipment, coordinating repairs and upgrades as needed.
Project Management
- Lead and manage IT projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience as a sole IT administrator or in a small team
- Approximately 8 years working experience as a Systems Administrator in a Microsoft Environment
- Qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant degree or TAFE Diploma with Industry certifications from Microsoft
- Extensive knowledge in MS Azure AD, Office 365, SharePoint, Intune, Autopilot, PowerShell
- Extensive knowledge of networking protocols and technologies
- Experience managing a distributed workforce and multiple locations
- Strong project management / change management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent organisational skills and project management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
