DUTIES WILL INCLUDEHelp Desk Support: Tend to help desk-related phone calls, providing timely and effective assistance.
Walk-in Assistance: Assist staff members with IT issues through walk-ins, offering on-the-spot solutions.
Email Support: Manage and respond to IT-related emails, ensuring all inquiries are addressed promptly.
Ticket Triage: Provide initial triage of IT support tickets, categorising and prioritising them accurately.
1st Level Troubleshooting: Perform first-level troubleshooting to resolve common IT issues.
Ticket Escalation: Escalate complex issues to senior teams when necessary, ensuring smooth resolution.
ATTRIBUTES WE ARE LOOKING FORExperience: Have experience in Information Technology, Programming, hacking or Robotics.
Independence: Ability to work autonomously and manage your own tasks efficiently.
Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
Problem Solving: Keen problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for all users.

TRAINEESHIP INFORMATIONThis traineeship duration is 24-months and will offer a solid foundation for you to build your IT Career. During this traineeship you will be working full-time (38 hours per week), Monday to Friday and must be available between 8am and 5.00pm.
You as a trainee will have 3-hours a week paid study time to work toward completing your Certificate III in Information Technology (General) and be a qualified Help Desk Technician at the completion of your traineeship.
