Could you be the Infrastructure Production Manager we’re looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your maintenance and leadership expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Reporting to the Systems and Infrastructure Manager, you will work with the infrastructure operations team and manage supervisors and technicians, ensuring they reach production targets, quality standards and set safety requirements. Day-to-day, you will execute the production plan, supervise preventative and corrective activities, review service orders and allocate tasks to your team. Based at Randwick, you will ensure that infrastructure and trains are maintained and delivered on time within the Sydney light rail project. We’ll look to you for: Managing a production team, including monitoring and controlling production on a shift-by-shift basis Identifying training and other resource needs to facilitate production in the most effective way Executing the production plan ensuring all production meets the safety and quality requirements and all work is performed in a safe, effective manner in accordance with the local policies and procedures Reviewing work plans to ensure daily production targets are met as effectively and efficiently as possible and conducting analysis where there was a failure to achieve production Proactively identifying areas for improvement by analysis from production/service operation reports and customer complaints, initiating action to ensure improvements Managing relationship with sub-contractors and the customer.
