Warehouse Manager
- Full time Permanent position
- Mon- Fri 8am- 4pm.
- Salary- $80- $100k + Super
- Must be Citizen or PR
The role
We're actively seeking a Warehouse Manager who is dynamic and detail-oriented to become a part of our client's team. You'll be responsible for overseeing the skilled team, orchestrating the flow of the warehouse operations, and ensuring the successful execution of the projects consistently.
Responsibilities
- Lead the warehouse operations, from inventory management and crew planning to logistics and project execution.
- Oversee major projects, collaborating with other departments.
- Maintain the highest standards for our hire equipment and installations.
- Play a key role in our strategic planning, helping to shape the future of our operations and growth.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and WHS requirements.
- Analyse warehouse operations and provide strategic solutions for process improvements.
- Manage warehouse budgets, ensuring our operations stay in line.
- Implement innovative technologies to optimize warehouse efficiency and performance.
Key Activities
- Report to the State Manager, acting as their trusted leader.
- Manage all rental jobs, ensuring equipment is correctly picked, scanned, and checked.
- Schedule and coordinate tasks with the warehouse team, keeping everyone in harmony.
- Liaise with internal supervisors and managers, ensuring seamless coordination.
- Approve timesheets, monitor performance, and conduct quality checks.
- Lead on-site projects when required, demonstrating your leadership skills.
- Maintain warehouse asset and stock control, keeping everything in order.
- Regularly review warehouse equipment and supplies, arranging for repairs and replacements as necessary.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance warehouse culture, promoting team collaboration and morale.
- Ensure all warehouse procedures align with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Provide intermediate/advanced training and mentoring to warehouse team members, helping them hit their high notes.
Experience
- Knowledge of workplace safety and relevant Victorian codes and standards.
- Excellent communication skills, able to lead your teams with ease.
- Ability to delegate responsibility and act as a coach/mentor.
- Strong computer and reporting skills.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Forklift License required.
- A strategic mind, always looking for ways to improve the performance.
