The Role:
A skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist who will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the IT infrastructure for a broad spectrum of clients. The ideal candidate will have expertise in a range of commonly used infrastructure and networking products, including Cisco UCS, HP Nimble, VMWare, Hyper-V, Cisco Fabric and related products.
The Job:
- Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions for clients, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and recommend appropriate infrastructure solutions.
- Provide technical expertise in the installation, configuration, and administration across some or all of Cisco UCS, HP Nimble, VMWare, Hyper-V, Cisco Fabric.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with security and performance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend continuous improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Specialist or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of contemporary infrastructure products.
- Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable and secure IT infrastructure solutions.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
