Seven News is looking for a full time Ingest Operator to join our News Editing team. You will be working alongside talented professionals.

About the role

• Primarily entails ingesting camera vision and feeds from multiple sources into a Quantel-based server system.
• Exchanging video material within the Seven Network for use in our various News bulletins.
• Quality control and monitoring of all incoming feeds and digital assets.
• Communicating with field crew, producers and control room.
• Some video editing with the potential for upskilling.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends & public holidays.

About You

• Exceptional attention to detail;
• Perform well under pressure with tight on-air deadlines;
• The ability to work in a team environment;
• Adept at keeping track of multiple feeds simultaneously;
• Experience working with broadcast equipment (highly regarded);
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
