Do you want a high-flying career working for the world’s largest air services provider, based in Sydney?We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Injury Management Administrator to join our national team based in Sydney on a full-time permanent basis supporting the National Injury Management Advisor (based in Melbourne) with the administration of employee Injury Management and Return to Work processes.More about this role:As this role will be a part of the local Sydney People & Culture team some additional P&C related tasks may be required to be undertaken from time to time. Reporting to the National Injury Management Advisor, this role exists to ensure legal compliance and completeness of employee records relating to rehabilitation and timely return to work of injured, ill or long term absent employees.In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are:
- Support triaging those injuries or illnesses in conjunction with the injured employee, Supervisor or Manager to ensure quick and appropriate medical treatment is made available.
- Liaise with site Management as soon as possible following injury or illness to a staff member and to develop a return-to-work plan that identifies suitable duties based on the work capacity of the injured party.
- Maintain contact with site management and/or injured employees, where appropriate, to monitor the progress of their recovery and return to work.
- Maintain the SOLV Injury database with information related to all claims.
- Where possible, attend the initial doctors consultations with the injured person at the local clinic.
- Provide administrative support to the local People & Culture team for long term absent employees, following the companies Fit For Work process.
- Provide operational administrative support to the local People & Culture team when required.
- Rehabilitation and Return to Work training/qualification or similar would be highly regarded.
- Workers Compensation / Injury Management Coordinator training, Cert IV Personal Injury Management would be an advantage but not required.
- Demonstrated capability working in a similar position within a multi-site organisation.
- Understanding of applicable State / Territory Workers compensation schemes (case management experience will be highly regarded).
- Strong time management skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Able to build effective and influential relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as an awareness of multi-cultural and diverse workplaces.
- Current full driver license would be an advantage.
