About the Role
We are looking for experienced Motor Mechanics to join our Orange Store. Our store is equipped with state of the art and modern equipment.
In this role, you will maintain and repair light vehicles through identifying and rectifying faults, as well as following specific vehicle manufacturer guidelines to deliver an industry leading level of customer service.
Your day-to-day tasks would include:
Repairing and maintaining customer vehicles
Carrying out wheel alignments, wheel balancing and other wheel/suspension related services
Carrying out registration checks
Identifying mechanical faults as well as issues with vehicle stability and tyre wear
Fitting, rotating and servicing tyres
Providing advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks found on customer vehicles
Safely operating hoists
Conducting road tests as required
About you
Qualified Motor Mechanic
Hold MVRIA licence
Preferably 2 or more years experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
Have a Australian Drivers License
Good communication
Enjoy working in a team environment
Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills
MUST be physically fit and able to carry out day-to-day tasks
Knowledge of WHS in a workshop environment
