Key Responsibilities
As our Part-Time Receptionist, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our clinic. Your duties will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service to our clients, drawing from your minimum of 2 years customer service experience.
- Managing and responding to face-to-face, phone, and email inquiries courteously and professionally.
- Processing payments through various methods, including cash, HICAPS, EFTPOS, and Medicare.
- Issuing patient invoices and receipts, as well as handling bulk billing as required.
- Managing practitioner schedules and entering patient data through Cliniko, our Practice Management Software.
- Assisting practitioners with paperwork, letter writing, and meeting scheduling deadlines.
- Following up on appointment reminders and confirmations.
- Contributing to stock management to ensure clinic supplies are well-maintained.
- Account management
- Upholding clinic presentation, tidiness, and upkeep.
- Creating and editing social media content to enhance our online presence.
- Participating in marketing efforts to promote the clinic's mission and values.
Qualifications and Essential Skills
- Minimum of 2 years customer service experience.
- Excellent phone manner and professional communication skills.
- Effective time management with ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to contribute beyond expectations.
- Growth mindset and positive attitude towards challenges.
- Friendly, and personable demeanour.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and genuine character.
- Proficiency in social media platforms is essential.
- Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient computer skills; experience with Cliniko, Medicare, and medical billing is advantageous.
- Exposure to the allied health care field is a plus.
Working RosterΒ
The ideal candidate will be available to work 35+ hours/week over the following days:
- Monday
- Tuesday
- Wednesday PM
- Thursday
- Friday AM
The above shifts will either be half or full day and are subject to change.
