AddressDowner is seeking an Injury Management Advisor, based in our Collins Street Office, Melbourne. As an individual working within a high-performing national team you will support Downer's Injury Management process and assist in the day-to-day claims management. This will be achieved through collaboration and ensuring compliance for successful return to work outcomes.

Downer is seeking an Injury Management Advisor, based in our Collins Street Office, Melbourne. As an individual working within a high-performing national team you will support Downer's Injury Management process and assist in the day-to-day claims management. This will be achieved through collaboration and ensuring compliance for successful return to work outcomes.
Reporting to the Manager - Injury Management the role will have several focus areas:
- Strategic management of injuries and claims portfolio
- Providing timely support and advice in relation to Injury Management and return to work
- Maintaining regular appropriate contact with key stake holders including workers and business representatives
- Assist with providing coaching and training for line managers, supervisors and the safety team
- Payroll processing and payment of weekly payments
About you
- 3+ years' experience in Claims and Injury Management Industry
- Knowledge of Workers Compensation and Injury Management legislation
- Allied Health Background highly regarded
- Development and drive of Injury Management initiatives
- High level of analytical and numeracy skills
- Developing suitable duties/ return to work plans
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Actively contributes to the team
- Open to learning
