Injury Management Advisor

Citywide are recruiting for an Injury Management Advisor for a 12-month fixed term contract to cover Parental Leave. You will be performing a vital role within the close-knit Injury Management team, supporting the business in the administration of Injury Management, assisting in the management of workplace injuries, workers compensation claims and assisting with Return-to-Work programs.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the management of all workplace injuries, compensation claims and return-to-work plans.
• Maintaining injury statistics.
• Liaising with agents to ensure effective management of claims.
• Attending claims reviews/conferences and treating practitioner reviews as required.
• Registering injury information on to QuickClaim and keeping files up to date.
• Processing all WorkCover invoices as required under state based WorkCover legislations.
• Liaising with medical clinics as required to resolve any WorkCover certificate and/or invoice issues.
• Liaising with injured workers as required to resolve WorkCover issues.
• Maintain data entry of medical expenses, CWEs, days lost and wage reimbursement into QuickClaim.
• Monthly credit card reconciliation.
• Ad Hoc duties as required.

Skills and qualifications required:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in a similar role.
• Strong time management, administration and organisational skills.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to coach, advise and support leaders to assist their team members through Injury Management.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment with multiple deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hight attention to detail.
• Current Victorian Drivers Licence.
