Agnico Eagle owns and operates the Fosterville Gold Mine which is located on Dja Dja Wurrung Country, approximately 20 kilometres east of Bendigo in Central Victoria. About the opportunity:Join us as a Health and Injury Management Advisor and make a real difference! You'll be a key player in keeping our workplace safe and healthy. From building injury prevention strategies to promoting employee wellbeing, you'll play a vital role in creating a positive and productive work environment.
Your key duties will be:
- Injury Prevention & Management: Develop and implement strategies to prevent injuries, lead the return-to-work process, and manage workers' compensation claims.
- Health & Wellbeing Programs: Coordinate health surveillance, deliver health and wellbeing programs, and provide mental health education and support services.
- Data Management & Compliance: Maintain health, safety and injury data, ensuring compliance with all regulatory obligations.
- External Collaboration: Partner with service providers to deliver health programs and develop strategies to manage health insurance costs.
About you:
To be successful in this role you'll need relevant tertiary qualifications in Health, Exercise Physiology or a related allied health field.
You'll also need experience with the Victorian Workers Compensation Insurance industry and/or case management, and experience as a return to work coordinator or occupational rehabilitation provider.
You'll be an excellent communicator with strong collaboration and influencing skills. You'll value differences in people and be able to work with individuals from diverse cultures, with different styles, abilities and backgrounds.
This role will be based at Fosterville Gold Mine. The roster will initially be 5/2 with the possibility to accommodate a flexible work roster (5/2:4/3) once you settle into the role.
A competitive salary package will be offered commensurate with the successful applicant’s qualifications, knowledge and experience.
