Summary
As the Injury Management Advisor (Case Manager), you will provide a rehabilitation case management service for Injury Management (including workers’ compensation) matters.

The Role & The Team
A key focus of this role is to provide appropriate support requirements and implement rehabilitation programs for injured employees in accordance with delegation under the Safety Rehabilitation and Compensation Act (Cth) 1988 (aka the SRC Act). The role entails liaison with external and internal stakeholders such as Workplace Rehabilitation Providers, Comcare, health professionals, injured workers and Line Leaders. The role includes associated administrative activities and use of a case management system called Solv. The role may suit those with claims management experience under the SRC Act or those with experience as a Rehabilitation Provider.
You will form an integral part of a dedicated Injury Management Team from a diverse range of backgrounds. The team embraces opportunities for growth, flexible work practices (work from home) and inclusivity in the workplace.

The Person
You must maintain a high standard of professionalism, knowledge and performance in a way that earns and sustains trust, including consistent modelling of behaviours in line with Airservices values. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a positive working relationships with all stakeholders.
The successful applicant will have:
- A proven track record of working within broad range case management, compensation, rehabilitation and people management.
- Ideally experienced in Commonwealth workers’ compensation (aka Comcare or SRC Act)
- Superior ability to communicate, build and maintain relationships with senior management, peer groups and external providers.
- Demonstrated ability to express thoughts clearly and succinctly, both orally and in writing including effectively presenting information and writing and comprehending business and medical correspondence.
- Demonstrated ability to remain objective and impartial, assertive balanced by strong emotional intelligence.
- Strong ability to interpret, apply and advise on workplace legislation and policy.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive matters.
