FPES is looking for an Enrolled Nurse, Registered Nurse or other Allied Health Professional to join our growing team. This role would suit a new graduate, someone who is looking for a change in career or simply a change of scenery from a clinical setting. Working within the FPES High-Risk Team, you will continue to utilise your skills and knowledge, whilst learning new processes within a unique business. Work in a relaxed and casual office environment in Cronulla. Flexible working-from-home arrangements are also available (2 days per week).
FPES Australia is an organisation that provides pre-employment screening and post-injury interventions to some of Australia's largest employers.
What the role entails:
- Reviewing Physiotherapy reports within the FPES specialist software system
- Reviewing Certificates of Capacity & Medical/Rehabilitation Reports
- Identifying high-risk referrals and any barriers impacting recovery
- Discussing recovery barriers with FPES treatment providers
- Summarising injury information and liaising with Employers & Insurers
- Communication via phone and email with many stakeholders – treatment providers, injured workers, employers, insurers
- Administrative tasks associated with your cases
- Implementation and ongoing review of strategic plans
- Development of a hand-over strategic plan once all delayed recovery options have been investigated
- Resiliency and empathetic service through collaboration with key stakeholders
- The ability to have challenging conversations whilst maintaining professionalism
- To a lesser extent, this role will also involve Injury Triage, as this side of the business continues to develop. This is a Telehealth Service to patients, providing injury advice and assistance over the phone.
Skills/requirements:
- Enrolled Nurse, Registered Nurse or holds an Allied Health Degree
- Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously within a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills who is a clear and professional communicator (written & verbal)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
- Exceptional time management and organisation skills
- Confident and self-motivated with a strong focus on outcomes
- Strong administrative skills and ability to use informational technology systems competently
- Experience with communicating with medical and paramedical personnel experience is desired but not essential
- Injury Case Management experience is desired but not essential
- Occupational Health experience desired but not essential
Monday - Friday role. Full training & support provided. The salary is negotiable depending on experience.
