Insights & Category Manager

We’re currently looking for a Category Manager to join our commercial team on a 12-month max term contract to support during a period of leave.
How you will make contributions that matter:
In this role you will become a subject matter expert in consumer behaviour relating to the Everyday Cheese category, with the purpose of growing consumption of our key brands and optimising the customer’s experience with our products.
This will include:

• Project managing primary research and providing long and short term insights into shopper behaviour
• Leading the Range Review process for your allocated category
• Concept testing and using your commercial acumen to influence pricing and promotional strategy
• Participating in the New Product Development (NPD) process

You’ll be working cross-functionally to meet your key objectives, engaging and communicating with stakeholders on all levels from across the business.
This is an exciting opportunity to gather insights and review consumer behaviour across your category to become the authority and point of reference for your peers, clients and stakeholders.
About you:
We’re looking for someone with:

• Proven experience working with consumer insights as well as category management
• FMCG industry experience (dairy would be a bonus)
• The ability to influence and engage your clients and stakeholders and the ability to understand multiple perspectives
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to drive data-led decisions
• A natural curiosity to understand consumer behaviour
