The Role
This is an exciting senior leadership role within our Product team, focused on serving our financial services clients in Australia and New Zealand. You will be integral in driving the team forward, being focused on exceeding client expectations in all forms of delivery, identifying and implementing research and operational best practice and mentoring more junior members of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Presenting to clients ensuring presentations exceed expectations with regards to actionability, accuracy and timeliness
- Maintaining a deep understanding of clients’ strategic priorities and demonstrating this understanding in your dealings with clients
- Reviewing and providing feedback on the work of more junior members of the team, ensuring feedback is understood and acted upon, ensuring continual advancement in the quality of team output
- Executing on product or process initiatives that aim to enhance client experience, maximise efficiency and margin
- Identifying and executing upon opportunities to advance our product coverage in response to client needs and market dynamics
- Working closely with Senior Resourcing Manager to ensure resources are utilised effectively and forward planning is undertaken
- Working closely with Sales and Client Success teams in the acquisition of new clients and servicing of existing ones
- Identifying and implementing innovative research approaches and methodologies
- Cascading subject matter expertise through the analyst team and broader business
- Leading training sessions and implementing ongoing internal training programs and knowledge sharing
- Coaching and development of team members ensuring they are engaged and fulfilled in their careers at RFI.
Requirements
- Experience in a research agency environment or research role.
- Experience working with banks / financial services providers.
- An ability to focus on client service above all else.
- Experience of using data and research to deliver actionable insights.
- Experience managing primary research from the design stage through delivery.
- Experience managing of external panel suppliers.
- Experience presenting research and insights to clients at a senior management level.
- A desire to work on your own in a fast-moving environment, with an entrepreneurial focus.
- The ability to lead, engage and drive a high performing team.
- The ability to work and communicate effectively.
- Experience of using data/research software such as SPSS and Q.
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
- The ability to challenge the status quo and think outside the box.
