Versent is continuing to grow & expand our footprint across all our practices. As a result of a number of key investments into our leadership team, we are looking to hire a Practice Director, Data & Insights to join our incredible team. About the Role:

The Practice Director, Data & Insights is responsible for driving business growth across new and existing customers. This role has a high execution focus and responsible for developing business strategies for Data & Insights; and works closely with Architects, Account Executives & Customer Partners to generate business opportunities and ensure every customer has an amazing experience. This role also forms part of our wonderful leadership team and will also lead a valued team of passionate and smart Architects.

What you will do:

  • Provide growth and market leadership within the Data & Insights domain.

  • Build & execute on customer strategy; working in close partnership with Practice Directors, CTO, Account Executive(s), Customer Partner(s) and Architects.

  • Present as a Thought Leader at relevant industry, alliances and Versent events.

  • Build strong relationships with key alliances such as Databricks & Snowflake

  • Act as a strategic advisor at C level and have the confidence & expertise to influence internal & external stakeholders.

  • Continue to build a strong network of customers within the Data & Insights domain.

  • In collaboration with the customer account teams, the Director is accountable for leading and building the customer outcomes in Proof of Value/Concept, YBR, customer demos or advisory engagements, ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Establish and lead the standardization and reuse of specific material for RFPs, Tenders, Statements of Work and client engagement deliverables.

  • Lead the pre-sales, advisory and business development support for all new and existing customers in a region to Customer Partners and Senior Account Executives

  • Act as credible partner in the Sales process, working with the account team to lead in new customers and build customer confidence in technical ability of Versent.

  • Responsible for providing clients with clear direction and shaping on Versent solutions with support from Practice Leads and associated Principal Solution Architects

  • Be an inclusive leader; lead a team to achieve their potential and support their learning & career development goals.

  • Lead a team through a high growth, matrix and complex environment.

You will have:

  • Extensive experience of building and delivering data and analytics solutions for large enterprises.

  • High level of technical and analytical knowledge in the relevant practice and proven experience in engineering and software architecture design

  • A proven track record in achieving growth & revenue metrics, with a "no stone unturned" approach to generating business

  • Proven experience of winning new customers and creating go-to market strategy

  • Outcomes focused with a strong track record on execution and possesses the ability to work at pace, while also being capable of both taking direction and working well independently.

  • Experience of building and managing complex relationships with Senior Executives in large Enterprises and Government, and with an extensive network.

  • Relationship and sales management: Strong client engagement and exceptional client relationships. Experience in selling and managing large tech’ consulting projects ($5m value) and revenue under management of $10m plus.

  • Able to effectively present to Executives and Boards of clients, with extensive experience doing both. Executive-level communication and influencing skills with the ability to resolve issues, build consensus among groups of diverse internal/external stakeholders, and have proven skill in negotiating and mediating conflict.
