The Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Instructional Designer to join the Learning and Development Team within this state government department. This role is essential for coordinating the design and delivery of leadership and management capability development programs and initiatives to the Queensland Health workforce.
- Design, develop, and evaluate engaging online learning programs;
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met;
- Administer procurement activities and manage project-related documentation;
- Support subject matter experts and the L&OD Manager with project delivery; and
- Develop and implement process improvements for existing and new projects.
To excel in this role, you will need a strong background in instructional design, particularly within learning and development or human resources.
- Demonstrated experience in instructional design within L&D or HR;
- Proficiency in using instructional design tools and technologies;
- Experience in designing, building, and reviewing eLearning programs;
- Ability to utilise a learning management system (LMS) effectively; and
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
