What role you will play in our team

Imperial is seeking an Electrical Engineer-in-Training to provide technical support at distribution and pipeline facilities within our Midstream division. You will play an integral part in maintaining Canada's fuel supply.
What you will do
- Guide development of projects at pipeline and terminal facilities
- Participate in developing solutions to technical issues and implementing improvements
- Develop procedures and maintain drawings
- Support Projects between Mechanical Completion (MC) and Project turnover
- Provide engineering guidance on execution of facility upgrades, work directly with consultants and oversee commissioning as the owner's representative
- Troubleshooting and consulting at operating facilities
- Provide field or remote support for 23 terminals & 65 pipeline sites

Skills and Qualifications
- Electrical Engineering degree form an accredited university
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record is required
- Basic IT security and controls knowledge is required
- Preference for candidate with less than 3 years of work experience
- Preference for candidate with a minimum of 1 year in the area of network security and controls
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Dependable and willing and able to handle urgent issues (may include availability outside of regular working hours/weekends/holidays)
- Ability and willingness to travel across Canada for field activities (25-75% of time in field)
