To be successful in this position you will have completed a Bachelor or Masters in Electrical Engineering, or similar and be working towards your Chartered status, if not already achieved.
You will ideally have a minimum of 8 years’ experience.
You must also have a legal entitlement to work in Australia and be able to obtain necessary security clearances if required.
Key Duties
- Control system design and specification (including industrial networks, automation equipment, Instrumentation and control devices) with an awareness of ISA95 compliant architectures.
- Writing functional description documents.
- Assisting with and reviewing multidisciplinary deliverables.
- Selection / specification of instrumentation in accordance with equipment datasheets.
- Design / modify panel layout, schematic wiring and termination diagrams for industrial control systems.
- Developing EI&C schedules (cable, instrument, I/O, etc.).
- Developing changeover plans for brownfield control system upgrades.
- Control system FAT, SAT & Commissioning.
- Working collaboratively with a multidiscipline team.
- Proposal preparation and cost estimates.
