As the Insurance and Risk Officer you will work closely with the CFO / GM to assist with the management of a robust insurance program in partnership with brokers and supporting the continual uplift of the risk management framework to identify and manage risks effectively across the organisation
This role involves helping to manage Insurance programs, risk management frameworks, and coordinating insurance renewals and claims activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing the Group's insurance program, renewals, and Risk improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate incident management processes, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Support the enhancement of the risk management framework and tools.
- Monitor compliance with legislation, conduct internal reviews, and assist with WHS claims.
- Assisting with reports, analysis, and support governance software maintenance.
- Coordinate with external partners for risk engineering programs and report generation.
- 3-6 + years of experience in Insurance and/or Risk Management ideally from a commercial business, property preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work autonomously under pressure.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, experience in complex insurance programs, retail property/construction is desirable
