We wouldn't be able to continually improve and grow as a company without our diverse and exceptional team.What we are looking for:We are looking for a Senior Operational Risk & Compliance Officer.Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Driving the ongoing maturation of the Group's risk and compliance strategy and framework to ensure the management of risks within appetite and compliance with law and regulatory standards.
  • Providing commercially sound risk and compliance advice and high quality reporting to senior stakeholders across the Group.
  • Supporting product and customer facing teams to deliver compliant outcomes in relation to product development and management.
  • Overseeing and managing complex incidents and breaches and the end-to-end IDR and EDR processes.
  • Liaising with regulatory bodies such as ASIC and AFCA, to manage timely submissions.
  • Identifying and mitigating compliance risks, including overseeing third-party due diligence management.
  • Developing, reviewing and testing company policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Understanding and advising on regulatory requirements applying to the non-bank lending sector including the NCCP Act, Corporations Act and ASIC Act.
  • Supporting our internal audit and external audit programmes.
  • Cultivating a positive risk culture, an ethos of continual improvement and business awareness of the Group's risk and compliance practices and obligations.
To be successful in this role you must have the following skills and experience:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in risk management and compliance within a consumer credit and/or financial services business.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and develop relationships with key stakeholders, including the ability to discuss issues, provide advice, develop and improve processes and integrate a strategic approach to risk and compliance.
  • An ability to work autonomously in an unstructured environment and be adaptable and versatile across a broad range of initiatives and stakeholders.
  • A commitment to excellence, customer service and teamwork and willingness to create and take on opportunities to advance their career in a dynamic and growing business and team.
