Job tasks and responsibilities
- Broker Support
- Downloading renewals, updating and maintaining renewal spreadsheets
- Prepare client communications. (for example, pre-renewal emails, Wages Declarations, Client Renewal Spreadsheets)
- Processing endorsements, renewals, new business, and sending invoices/communications to clients.
- Quoting new business/renewals/premium funding
- Debtors, following up of overdue payments and ensuring payments are made on time, preparing premium funding if necessary
- Policy Checking
- Other tasks as directed
Skills and Experience:
- Insurance Industry experience necessary
- Excellent communications skills
- High level of accuracy and focus
- Ability to meet objectives in a business environment
- Good organisational skills and an ability to work to deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lead by example
- Computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- The ability to be flexible in a rapidly growing organisation
- Proven ability to work as part of a team and communicate cooperatively with team members
- Ability to maintain high standards and professional manner, diplomacy, confidentiality and presentation
Desired Educational Requirements:
- Tier 1/2 or Diploma - Will also look at candidates that would like to study to achieve these.
