Our client in the Energy sector is looking for a skilled Integration Analyst with experience in the Energy and Utilities sector and fluency in a variety of contemporary programming languages, software and systems.
You will work closely with the Integration Lead and delivery teams to design, develop and deliver integration with their critical system. This role is pivotal to ensure that the solution can be integrated with new and existing systems to support end to end business processes as required by key stakeholders.
This is an initial 12 month contract with 2-3 years pipeline of work.

Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of system architecture principles, with a proven track record of delivering scalable, secure, highly available, resilient and performant integration solutions aligned with the overall organisational strategy.
- Knowledge of various integration technologies, platforms and tools including a deep understanding of integration patterns, APIs, ETL processes, middleware, and data mapping.
- Experience collaborating with cross functional teams to comprehend requirements and translate them into efficient and maintainable code.
- Extensive experience with the full software development life cycle.
- Experience with coding languages including Python, Java and Perl
- Experience in integration protocols and patterns, including web services (REST/JSON,SOAP/XML) and message brokering / queuing (pub/sub async patterns)
- Comprehensive experience in any of these middleware / integration platforms (others considered) including Oracle Fusion Middleware, Mulesoft, Apache Camel, Dell Boomi or JBoss.
- Ability to support project management and positively engage with technology stakeholders.
- Ability to embrace working in a fast paced operational environment with competing priorities
About you:
- Experience in delivering real time Industrial Control System Operational Technology.
- Experience with Cloud integration services (in order of preference) - SAP, Azure, AWS.
- Experience in the Energy and Utilities sector
- Exposure to the National Electricity Market including transmission, distribution, generation, and market operator functions as well as rules, regulations and constraints.
- Demonstrated history of solving complex problems
- Fluency in a variety of contemporary programming languages, software and systems.
