About the Role:
The purpose of this role is to manage and support WMQ’s integration architecture with a focus on continuous improvement. This includes troubleshoot, maintain, and minor improvements of existing data integrations as well as the design, development, and implementation of new data integrations as part of WMQ’s Enterprise Integration strategy. The role accountabilities include:
- Oversee and support all IT Integration systems and overall architecture. This includes monitoring of interfaces and systems, promptly resolving issues and escalating to vendors / internal support staff when necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, gather, and refine integration requirements, and develop efficient integration solutions.
- Develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using various techniques and products such as LDAP, PowerShell, Boomi, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, etc. Ensuring alignment to WMQ’s cybersecurity principles.
- Design, document, test and deliver robust, secure, and scalable integration solutions such as message-based communication using Azure Service Bus.
We are seeking a person who has proven experience in application integration in both a support capacity as well as new solution design and development activities. You will have strong problem-solving skills and able to manage a multi-application environment, the ability to work in an agile development environment with excellent communication and collaboration skills is essential, along with:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C# or NodeJS and experience with serverless computing. Experience in scripting languages such as PowerShell beneficial.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and other integration protocols.
- Enterprise-wide expertise in IT integration systems (including middle-ware products such as Boomi), with a deep understanding of interface technologies.
- Solid understanding of Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and Azure API Management.
- Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate).
- Previous experience architecting cloud-based integration solutions.
- Experience capturing and maintaining integration artefacts in an Architecture repository such as iServer.
- Proven experience in managing/operating SaaS and on-premise systems and troubleshooting integrations relying upon technologies such as Active Directory, Data Warehousing, Microsoft SQL
- Databases, Microsoft Entra ID.
