Southern Launch, based in Adelaide, South Australia, offers infrastructure and operational support for orbital and suborbital rocket launches. We have two multi-user launch sites: The Whalers Way Orbital Launch Complex and the Koonibba Test Range.
About the role
As an Integration Engineer at Southern Launch, you'll oversee the smooth integration of software systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and cohesive technology solutions. Responsibilities include:
- Facilitate collaborative efforts to achieve seamless software system integration.
- Implement integration protocols to merge backend and frontend software components cohesively.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to integrate software components with various hardware interfaces.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance during the integration process to identify and resolve any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity specialists to integrate security measures seamlessly into software systems.
- Implement solutions that adhere to compliance requirements and standards.
About you

- Bachelor of Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software integration with a focus on collaborative project work.
- Familiarity with hardware interfaces and a diverse range of technologies.
- Proven experience in both backend and frontend software development.
- Expertise in data handling, management, and processing.
- Experience with mission-critical software development and integration.
This position requires you to hold and maintain a valid Australian Defence Security Clearance.
