The Cloud & Integration Engineer is a key member of the Technology Advancement team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud environments and integration solutions to support the organisation's IT infrastructure and business objectives.
This role requires a strong technical foundation in cloud computing, integration technologies, and data management, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive operational excellence. As you will be working in a geographically dispersed team, you will have strong capabilities in self-managing work and collaborating with people remotely, remaining connected to your team.
Additionally, you remain forward-thinking, keeping a watchful eye on emerging technological trends to ensure the organisation remains innovative and enhances its technology solutions in a secure and compliant manner.
Accountabilities include:
- Design, deploy, and maintain public cloud environments, primarily Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Develop and implement integration solutions to connect disparate systems and applications, facilitating seamless data exchange and communication.
- Facilitate cloud migration and adoption initiatives, assessing current infrastructure, identifying opportunities for migration to the cloud, and developing migration strategies and roadmaps.
- Design, implement, and optimize integration solutions for seamless interaction with Software as a Service (SAAS) applications, ensuring efficient data exchange and adherence to security and compliance standards.
- Utilize integration tools and technologies, such as Azure Logic Apps, to design and build scalable, reliable integration workflows.
- Implement data integration solutions to ensure the consistency, accuracy, and integrity of data across various systems and databases.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for cloud and integration-related issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and minimize impact on operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and external vendors, to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or relevant industry certifications/experience (Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cloud computing, integration, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms.
