About the Role
Due to expansion, Sime Darby Industrial is currently recruiting for an Integration Lead Developer to join our award-winning branch in Brisbane or Archerfield, QLD on a Permanent/ fulltime position.
The primary responsibility of this role is to design and develop integration services for Hastings Deering and Sime Darby Industrial.
The responsibilities of this position include working as part of the delivery teams to support production integration systems.
Reporting to the Manager - Integration, this role requires technical and operational expertise with Integration patterns and platforms, operating on Windows server environments and cloud platforms.
Key responsibilities
Functional and Leadership Objectives:
- Defines application integration requirements and solutions by collaborating with Agile technology delivery Squads, Architects and Chapter Leads.
- Provide design and technical delivery of integration solutions.
- Work with the Digital development team in designing and implementing end to end integration solutions utilizing the relevant Integration technologies (MuleSoft, Microsoft Azure, or Workato)
- Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of integration solutions and processes.
- Coordinate integration development and testing for the resolution of incidents and enhancements, including validating results by testing interface programs.
- Produce procedures for various applications and technical documentation for new and existing interfaces
- Where necessary, participate in and support the software development life-cycle (SDLC)

About You
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and attributes:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or Engineering (Essential)
- Minimum 5 years' experience working with software Development (Microsoft Technologies and integration platforms)
- Minimum 3 years' experience working with IT projects in a corporate environment
- Experience working with Agile Technologies
- Experience working in large IT environments and delivering solutions applying and implementing common integration patterns
- Experience designing and developing interfaces and integrated solutions across different platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics AX and other enterprise systems
- Knowledge of and skills with REST API, JSON, XML, SQL Server Databases, , Microservices and cloud providers (AZURE)
- Certified in integration technology solution design / architecture / development (not essential but will be highly regarded)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good liaison skills to engage project and technical stakeholders
- Experience with Integration cloud platforms - iPaaS - preferably including at least one from the following: MuleSoft, Workato, Microsoft Azure, Jitterbit
