Ampcontrol is currently inviting applications from talented Lead Control Systems Engineers to join our dynamic Technology Integration team in Cameron Park. As a Lead Engineer, your control system network design will help drive that advantage.
To excel in this position, you must be a motivated self-starter with a mature and reliable approach. Excellent communication skills are essential, and you should be adaptable, resourceful, and dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients.
Your role will encompass the following responsibilities:
- Collaborating with clients to determine project requirements and scope of work
- Developing project budgets and timelines
- Taking a leadership role in managing the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of high-quality solutions that meet or exceed our customers' expectations
- Ensuring all work is executed to high standards and within designated timelines
- Train and mentor junior engineers
- Providing ongoing support to our valued customers
- Cultivating and promoting a company culture centred around Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) principles
Essential Experience and Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related degree
- Eligible for or have CPEng/ RPEQ
- Strong client focus and exceptional communication abilities
- Demonstrated aptitude for teamwork and leadership
- Expertise in Rockwell, Siemens, or Schneider PLC/SCADA system design and development
- Proven track record in managing PLC/SCADA development projects
- Proficiency in scheduling and planning
- Have at least 10 years of experience in Mining, Water, Defence, or Renewables sectors
