A career at ASC is like no other, delivering a deeper purpose we can all be proud of.About the OpportunityReporting to the General Manager - Commercial SSN AUKUS, the Intellectual Property Manager is accountable for executing the Intellectual Property Plan with meticulous adherence to ASC's Intellectual Property Management Procedures and compliance obligations.This pivotal role ensures that Intellectual Property assets are effectively managed in alignment with Head Contracts and ASC's governance requirements, ultimately safeguarding ASC's commercial interests.The Intellectual Property Manager will provide expert advice on Intellectual Property matters, guiding the business towards favourable commercial outcomes.Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on Intellectual Property matters, guiding the business to achieve positive commercial outcomes.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external, to address Intellectual Property challenges and opportunities.
- Ensure that IP is managed in accordance with ASC's IP Management Procedure.
- Ensure the IP Management Procedure policy objectives are upheld in the course of day to day work by ASC personnel.
- Develop and maintain an SSN-AUKUS Build Intellectual Property Compliance Program Management Plan.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Australian Copyright and Intellectual Property legislation.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in copyright, Intellectual Property, business management, or law.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the management of Intellectual Property.
- Experience providing Intellectual Property and copyright advice.
- Understanding of IP administration and compliance procedures.
- Extensive experience in managing IP risk.
- High-quality writing skills, excellent time management, and organization skills.
- Demonstrable high level of verbal and written communication skills.
- Autonomous, goal-directed, and capable of managing multiple priorities with limited direction.
