Opportunity
The Business Advisory team provides the opportunity to work across multiple high performing Partners and within a vibrant and talented peer group. Working on a number of exciting start ups through to established household names (including ASX listed entities) you will be constantly challenged and given plenty of opportunity to develop your technical skills.
As an established boutique practice, the firm offers excellent training and career development for Accountants seeking a firm where they can see a clear career path. This includes technical and non-technical training.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of complex financial statements for trust, companies and SMSF.
- Managing a portfolio of clients- companies up to $100 million in turnover, high net worth individuals with multiple structures, superfunds, companies, partnership, trusts, and individuals.
- Preparing management accounting reports for review;
- Business advisory services
- Providing tax planning advice for clients;
- Preparing tax returns for all entities and Business Activity Statements;
- Quarterly and annual tax compliance matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce, Finance or Business, ideally with a Major in Accounting;
- CA/CPA commenced or looking to commence.
- Versatility with different systems such as Handisoft, Xero, MYOB, and Class Super.
- 2 years + experience working within a boutique, Big 4 and or Mid-Tier accounting firm in Australia.
- Intermediate Excel skillsets (exVLook up functions etc.) advantageous.
- Must have 2 years + Australian Public Practice Experience.
- Tech savvy and willing to learn new skillsets.
