Intermediate Accountant role working for a Boutique Family Friendly and Flexible Firm in Subiaco

They offer Business Advisory and tax solutions to business, individuals, and high wealth family groups. The Partners have worked closely together for 20 years and have branched out from a Big 4 firm. You can find all day parking for as little as $5 a day and their offices are only a short walk to the main shopping centres with Coles, Target and Farmer Jacks. THE OPPORTUNITY
An opportunity has arisen for an Intermediate Accountant to join the firm on a full-time basis. Working closely with their management team, you will be dealing with a mix of advisory and compliance work.
Duties include:
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for SMEs, trusts, company’s, partnerships, self-managed superfunds & individuals
- Preparing business activity statements
- Tax advisory including CGT and Div 7A
- Liaising with ATO and external agencies
- Liaising with clients
- Preparing referenced work papers
To be successful in this role you will need to be a team player with two to three years business services and tax experience in a similar role, near completion of CA/CPA, strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage daily workflow. Strong computer skills and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. You will have:
- Exposure to FBT, Div 7A, UPE, sub-trusts, solid tax knowledge and application
- Confidence in using MYOB AE (Accountants Enterprise) systems, processes and workpapers
- A generous remuneration package ($65,000 - $80,000 + super)
