We are a well established tax agent and accounting firm looking for a Graduate/Intermediate accountant to join our professional and friendly team.
The position we offer involves a variety of work for small to medium business clients. Book-keepers are also welcome to apply.
Ideally you will:
- Have at least 12 months experience in a CPA public practice firm
- Have experience with MYOB Accountright and MYOB Essentials, XERO, BGL360 , CAS360 , Intuit Quickbooks and Reckon.
- Enjoy working in a multi-cultural office
- Be client focused and efficient
- Have the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Be accurate, logical, efficient and have attention to detail
- Have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and in a team
- Preferably be able to speak Cantonese & Mandarin and read Chinese
Tasks include:
- Processing of ledgers including coding
- Processing of single touch payroll and superannuation
- Preparation of Business Activity Statements
- Preparation of Financial Statements
- Income Tax Returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies and superannuation funds with exposure to CGT, Division 7A, Franking credit & FBT
- Office administration duties as required.
