Intermediate Business Services Accountant

The successful candidate should have:

• At least 3+ years’ experience working in Public Practice
• Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or equivalent and have completed, commenced or be looking to start CA/CPA
• Proactive approach to tasks with a solution driven mindset
• Proficient in Xero & Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

The role:

• Preparation of Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, BAS’ and other reporting obligations for sole traders, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs.
• Preparation of periodic reports for clients to analyse business performance. 
• Timely and accurate completion of jobs.
• Implement technical skillset to identify tax issues and suggest strategies for clients to minimise tax.
• Research and suggest best practice solutions for technical tax matters. 
• Be accountable for your own work, highly organised and able to manage your own tasks and priorities.
• Embrace firm values & principals. 
• Professionally handle queries and issues.
• Complete other general duties on request.
