Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Intermediate Insolvency Accountant to join our esteemed client a highly regarded Chartered Accounting firm.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting insolvency and restructuring engagements, assisting with analysis, reporting, and client management. If you are a motivated professional with a passion for insolvency and a desire to grow in your career, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Assist with various insolvency and restructuring engagements, including administrations, liquidations, receiverships and bankruptcy cases.
- Conduct financial analysis and investigations to assess the financial position of clients and support the development of recovery strategies.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports, forecasts and recommendations for stakeholders, including creditors, directors, and regulatory authorities.
- Liaise with clients, legal counsel, creditors and other stakeholders to facilitate the insolvency process and achieve positive outcomes.
- Support senior team members in managing engagements and mentoring junior staff members.
- Stay informed about changes in insolvency laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices in all engagements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in insolvency and restructuring, preferably in a public accounting firm or advisory environment.
- Actively completing CA qualification preferred, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and insolvency legislation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to contribute effectively to complex financial analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of insolvency and restructuring, with a commitment to professional development.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
