We are a busy accounting practice located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches; we are currently seeking an Internal Accounts Receivable Manager (Clerk)/Administrative Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous administrative experience required
- Ability to calculate and manage accounting figures
- Good understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of accuracy and great attention to detail, excellent time management and the ability to multitask and prioritise;
- The ability to work autonomously but also part of a team
- A positive “can do” attitude and willingness to learn
- Be honest and reliable with a professional presentation
- Polite telephone manner
Reporting to the Principal, your key responsibilities will include:
- Data entry of client invoices including disbursement charges based on internal procedures
- Matching client payments to outstanding invoices in a timely manner
- Managing the practice Accounts Receivable ledger and Accounts Receivable files
- Generating monthly client account statements
- Handling internal inquiries regarding billing or payment issues
- Investigating and resolving any irregularities or client enquiries
- Submitting regular and timely reports to management on accounts receivable operations
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel
- Typing /amending correspondence and documents as required
- Reception support and general support and ad hoc duties as required
