ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE OFFICER

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We have an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Tamworth-based finance team. Reporting to the Group Accountant, this role entails driving the cash collection process by way of, monitoring, developing, and assisting in the collection of debt.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Accounts Receivable:
- Debt monitoring, reporting and collection
- Maintain and reconcile the debtor ledger and produce debtor reports
- Allocate and receipt customer payments
- Manage and maintain Trade Credit Insurance
- Manage and maintain Debtor credit applications
- Manage and maintain debtor card files including review of credit limits
- Accept foreign funds
- Banking and Foreign Exchange:
- Prepare and reconcile bank accounts, including local and foreign currencies
- Receipt incoming payments
- Facilitate FX transfers
- Other:
- Assist and support the Finance Team
- Ad Hoc tasks as required

- Ability to use Excel and other MS Office tools
- Previous experience (preferred but not essential)
