Acting Nurse Unit Manager – Urgent Care Centre – Internal Applicants Only

This is an exciting opportunity for an existing staff member to step into this this senior clinical role and as the Acting Nurse Unit Manager of Urgent Care for a fixed-term period, to commence ASAP until recruitment is complete. This is a full time role.
Our ideal applicant is someone with a high level of leadership skills. You will be responsible for the daily operational management of the Urgent Care Centre, using your contemporary leadership skills, best practice and extensive clinical experience to ensure patients receive the best care and support possible.
In this role you will be instrumental in the planning process and the effective allocation of resources for the ward/unit and responsible for leading a diverse team, ensuring that the team members deliver safe, evidence-based, person-centred care to achieve optimal health outcomes. This role is responsible for providing customer-oriented clinical, operational leadership to the team and ongoing development of practice guidelines and protocols in concert with collaborative patient management.
