Disability Connect Victoria is seeking expressions of interest for Team Leaders.
In this fulfilling role, you'll play a key role in supporting the Program Leader with the day-to-day admin and operational tasks, which in turn will help to better support our residents who receive support by DCV
You will be the 'conduit’ who keeps support workers, clients and the Program Leader connected and communications open.
You'll continue to be on the rosters, providing support just like a regular Support Worker. However, you'll also take on additional admin and operational responsibilities to ensure the smooth running of the programs in your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Scheduling Weekly Rosters
You will compile all client and household documentation, review it for accuracy, and ensure it is delivered to DCV head office on a weekly basis for scanning and uploading to Lumary by the Program Leader.
You will ensure Client appointments are arranged and entered into the House Diary. You will ensure that the relevant Program Leader is notified of all client appointments well in advance.
You will attend all client appointments or make arrangements for another support worker to attend on your behalf when you are unable to attend and will ensure that all relevant client information is taken to appointments, and all relevant information from the appointment is passed onto the team and the Program Leader in a timely manner.
You will ensure the Staff roster board and house checklists are kept up to date.
You will support clients to develop a weekly menu plan and grocery list.
You will ensure that the programs in your portfolio are WHS compliant.
You will welcome and induct all new support workers to the programs in your portfolio.
You will ensure the house cleaning schedule is developed, maintained and being completed as expected (Program Dependant)
You will complete between 1-8 hours of admin tasks each week and seek approval for additional hours where required.

Has excellent admin, computer, planning, organisational and time management skills.

This is a permanent part-time position (20+ hours per week) . Your Hours will be a mix of Admin tasks and support work. You will be required to work from DCV’s Warragul office on occasion.
There may from time to time be a need for additional hours which will be driven by demand, as per client and household needs.
