Internal Audit Co-Ordinator - Environmental/Quality/Hse

The role:

Reporting to the Quality Superintendent, the Environmental/Quality/HSE Audit Co-ordinator is responsible for the administration of the audit program, ensuring statutory requirements are met, risks are minimised, operational needs are addressed.

Your responsibilities will include:

•  Undertaking Internal Audits across various business units to ensure compliance;
• Facilitating external audits as required, to maintain third-party certification or regulatory requirements;
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding scope, schedule and resource requirements for the established audit program;
• Liaising with the business units to review audit feedback, findings and recommendations;
• Ensuring the planning, delivery and review of all program content is aligned with business needs;
• Maintaining audit records and corrective actions in accordance with business policies and systems;
• Acting as the chief point of contact for quality management activities; and
• Coaching personnel on auditing principles.

Selection Criteria:

Ideally you will be qualified in Auditing and have a background in environmental, safety and quality management.  Your experience as an Internal Auditor in a manufacturing, industrial or mining environment together with your proven ability to plan, prepare reports, lead and manage concurrent assignments will see you succeed.
