JOB DESCRIPTION:
The position will involve the following:
- Provide infrastructure and technical support for in-person and remote troubleshooting and resolution of IT issues related to Desktops, Laptops, Mobile Devices, and software applications used by the TWU.
- Create and update documentation for staff regarding IT Systems
- Administer and provide support for Office 365, Zoom Rooms, and our CRM membership System.
- Install and configure computer hardware systems and applications as well as support the roll-out of new applications and/or hardware.
- Routine maintenance tasks such as patching, updating, and testing.
- Assisting with IT lifecycle of infrastructure
- Manage all network infrastructure and systems, including WAN, LAN, WLAN CISCO routers/switches
- Management of user Onboarding and Offboarding with acquirement and retirement of devices, adjusting user roles and permissions and archival of user data
- Liaise with third-party companies for hardware and application acquirement, support, repairs, and additional requirements.
- Manage CRM database through health checks and utilising SQL
- Create and prepare Executive reports for a range of purposes using SQL, Excel, and CRM Reporting systems
- Ensure the security and compliance of the organisation's IT infrastructure through the management of Microsoft admin portals, anti-virus software, mail, and web security.
- Assisting the branch to meet its members' service goals on a day-to-day basis
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience working on a project or project implementation is highly desired
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office
- Skills with other SaaS platforms as an Administrator user, such as Adobe Acrobat Pro DC & Zoom.
- Experience managing a cloud environment such as AWS or Azure
- Experience in SQL and SQL query optimisation
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, or IT qualifications, however those with job-based experience will be considered.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Sound communication and time management skills.
