The opportunity:
With our unique market offering, and close consideration of the current and future customer requirements as well as opportunities for further penetration into such an important segment, Vital Medical Supplies views this Internal Sales Professional Role as a key part of our Primary Care offer within the sales function. The key responsibility of the Internal Sales Professional is to maintain current customer relationships and expand Vital Medical Supplies database of customers and prospects within the territory.
What you will do:
- Maintain and expand Vital Medical Supplies database of customers and prospects within the territory.
- Achieve activity goals and volume targets for each monthly campaign conducted through your territory.
- Establish a phone contact schedule maintaining consistent and regular contact with all designated customer accounts. Initial focus is to make contact with top 100 accounts by a combination of phone or email per week.
- 25% Inbound Calls, 75% Outbound Calls
- Create and maintain customer profiles on all accounts using the CRM tool, this includes email addresses and all relevant contact details.
- Measure, review and monitor customer purchasing patterns and trends. Follow up on all opportunities to create sales and generate profitable revenue.
- Works closely with team members to share knowledge and information, whilst also improving product and customer knowledge.
- Develops account and territory plans to create a structured approach to the management of customer base.
- Drive all new outbound call follow up promotions and create Internal Sales opportunities for field based Territory Managers and interstate accounts.
- Maintain new business prospect pipeline and actively work to onboard new business
- Works within company Health & Safety requirements.
What we are looking for:
- Ability to seek opportunities to increase GP within the account by influencing product usage/selection.
- Up Sell/Cross Sell and ensure customers receive the best solution possible.
- Strong customer follow up skills as well as strong ability to organise, prioritise and multitask.
- Increase top line revenue by obtaining new business wins
- Ability to build customer engagement through relationship development and manage customers through phone support.
- Investigate purchasing behaviour on accounts that are not 100% compliant to Vital, and initiate conversion.
- Work closely with channel marketing to support promotional activity and communicate product information to customers.
- Liaise with Team Leader and customer service to co-ordinate opportunities.
- Review, monitor and improve effectiveness of customer management through either direct mail or EDM options.
- Ability to be proactive and demonstrate initiative in your daily routine, completing tasks set out by due date
