The Role
Based at either our Hobart or Launceston campus locations, The International Admissions and Compliance Lead will play a key role in our international education, forming part of the foundation for TasTAFE International. We are a newly formed team that will oversee the management of International Programs at TasTAFE.
The position will focus on contributing to and working within established administrative and Compliance processes and systems associated with international student applications, admissions, and variations to enrolments during international students’ period of study at TasTAFE.
The role also focuses on accurate data collection and analysis to inform future planning and ensure that attraction, recruitment, and admissions processes are delivered compliant with the respective legislation.
About You
We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual who is ready to join an impactful team.
Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a vocational education and training (VET) environment and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the requirements for managing international education programs in Australia.
Your background will demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate cross culturally and you must have the passion to train, guide and mentor people whilst providing an amazing customer experience every single time.
And, whilst it’s not essential, our preferred candidate would be fluent in an additional language other than English.
Essential Requirements
If you are successful in obtaining a role with TasTAFE, you will need to hold, or obtain, the following:
Current Registration to work with vulnerable people in Tasmania.
Australian permanent residency, or possession of a valid visa with work entitlement in Australia.
Desirable Requirements
Previous experience in VET international education.
Fluent in an additional language other than English.
Current Driver Licence.
